This is our first trip to Revelstoke (Dec. 5th-12th) and we typically ride between 6,000 ft to 10,000 ft in elevation in Utah. I'm just curious what a common elevation you guys typically ride at to determine if I need to do any clutching for the trip.
Most staging areas are at about 1300-1500'. The alpine riding varies from 5000-7000' with the odd trip up to 8000 but that is very limited. Hopes this helps, have a great trip. Pm me if you like will be around at that time.
I was gonna say around here we rarely get above 8k,like most have said riding takes place from usual 3500-6700..seems to be the sweet spot from Kelowna ,sicamous, revelstoke, kamloops and Fernie/pass.
Thanks guys. Just trying to determine what I need to do for clutching on my '13 Pro. I've got the stock high altitude but thinking of adding some weight but not sure.
