Riding Areas out of Wenatchee

Hey, looking for good riding areas near Wenatchee/ Chelan area. I used to ride there all of the time, but it was 15 years ago so my memory is failing me.

I'm also looking for suggestions on where to take a newer rider, somewhere they can have fun and get used to riding without feeling intimidated

Need a lot more snow. Other than that its find a road with some on it and dont leave it unless you want to spend money.

Well I know that, I'm not new to riding but taking someone out. That is, if we ever get snow. :-/

not many good ones for newer rider. up by sugarloaf theres some play areas. not much for easy terrain in that area

If you're just wanting a good area to ride groomed trails, the Lake Wenatchee/Fish Lake area is fantastic. They do a great job of grooming and the trails are well marked. The wife and I love riding over there, just wish we lived a little closer.

Is there enough snow to get to sugarloaf from fish lake? Also, has anyone been up towards trinity.

Rode to Trinity 2-4-20. plenty of snow on the groomed trail. About 2.5 feet of baseless snow at the turnaround. Snowed on us most of the day but between 30-32 degrees so we all were to warm.

Yes finally enough but proceed with caution. By the weekend might be deep enough to ride worry free. Keep the fingers crossed.
That being said all the wet snow is making a killer base.
