Glad to have it in the garage!

I’m not a fan of this newer removable flap. Has anyone installed the older Linq removable snow flap on an Expert? Maybe I’ll cut this one a bit.

I’m on the fence about one of these, seems pretty flimsy. I’ve installed the removable kit on the regular tunnels and not sure how you’d get it to work on an expert tunnel. That kit mounts on a vertical bracket on the end of the tunnel while the expert is mounted flat. I’m sure it could be done but would take some effort.

I looked, and I see what you’re talking about. That angled attach point isn’t on this like my last sled. I’ll probably cut this one.

Jaycox in Worthington,MN. They had another titanium and a triple black 165 turbo put together on the showroom when I picked mine up Thursday. They’re a great dealer with outstanding customer service and beat all other dealer prices within 6 hours of my house.

Thinking about cutting at the top of the top piece of painters tape. Seems to be about the same length of my XP with an XM flap.

So far, I’m impressed on this G4 vs my ‘08 XP… I can’t wait to ride it next month.

Don’t cut it on the top blue tape,it will let to much snow get thrown out the rear,I cut mine right below where the v stamp is on the flap, just cut off the curve on the flap, that should do it

I’ve put hundreds of miles on my snow flap, and it has never caught in the track.
The extra length makes it easier to store on The sled when I don’t need it.

What’s the purpose of even having the flap if your going to cut it??? I bought the flap with my 21 turbo and rarely used it. Sits in my trailer most of the year. If I do use it it’s on the trail only. I wouldn’t buy it again. Just my 2 cents
