React shocks on non react arms

So, I know React shocks are 5/8" shorter. I have Trenchers arms, but for my 18, the longer shocks. Looking at upgrading shocks soon to QS3 floats. But wondering if anyone notice any detrimental effects going with shorter shocks. Longer, put more ski pressure, obviously. I could TIG on some longer lower mounts, but that mess the powder coat and stuff. Only if I have to... Anyone run newer shorter shocks on their axys? I am a mountian rider, no trails so I don't care about trail manners,

just swap some one for the longer shocks ,believe me you will have no problem finding some one to swap with

Impossible when they don't make them in the longer length. Or I would just order those......
