Raze heated bars on a 300?

Has anybody put a set of Raze heated bars on their 300? I have a set as well as a Avid carb heater setup so I’ve got two thermostat units to choose from to plumb this on my TE 300. With the RK Tek head having a vertical coolant fitting it makes things really tight under there. Just wondering if anyone else has been down this road. All the photos I’ve seen show the return lines plumbed into the hose above the water pump. Not enough room for two return lines so I am going to tie them both into the one that connects the two rads together at the bottom. Does anyone see any problems with this?

Thanks for the photos. I see that we are both running RK Tek heads with Lectron. How has this setup been working for you?

I ran it all last season and the bike ripped. I ran an egt and the lectron came preset spot on... The only issue I have had on my rk heads... I have two .. is seeping from the head studs... No matter if I had new ones... On a 2018 or the 2006 with a brand new one cylinder... So I had to use thermostat sealant...

What brand of egt do you run ? Where is the best spot to weld the bung on the exhaust? What is the max temperature that you ever want to see? Sorry for all the questions but I want to do this right the first time. Thanks.

Koso... They gave a measurement in the instructions sorry I don't remember... I tune the lectron at wot 1150 to 1200. The powerjet will tune that .. 1300 is perfect but I air on the side of caution. ....

use statoseal washers under the stud nuts, in place of the copper washer, they will not leak.
I bought mine in metric size at Gregs distributing if you are in Canada. Just get what ever size your stud is.

Does the motor develop enough heat to make a difference at the bars? Do you have it shrouded in at all?
