Quiet 850 can

Looking for some feedback as to what would be the quietest can to run on the 850 Matryx to drop some weight but keep things as quiet as possible ? Assuming that most of the Axys 850 cans will probably work on the Matryx as well. Thanks for any help.

Diamond-S can 100%. Highest quality and quietest aftermarket muffler you can buy. No packing that can wear out and get louder over time. Plus I couldn't live without the optional integrated cooker mount.

Our crew has been running Diamond S cans for years and Steph and the team at Diamond are top notch. Highly recommend.

Another vote for Diamond S with the cooker! Have one on my 850 rmk and love it. I had a "thing" cooker can on my older Summit and after the noise level increased after a season or two I'm switching that out for stock cause it is just too loud now. After that I'm happy spend a bit extra on the Diamond S.

I have the SLP quiet can with the cooker mount and couldn't be happier. I like a warm lunch, I went cold lunch for 30+ years and now I really like a warm sandwich! Oh Well, It is hell to get older, but I never have to get OLD!

In looking at the stats of the diamond S versus SLP - if I’m reading things correct the diamond S is almost 4 pounds lighter than the SLP can. And the decibel ratings look to be the same on the quiet cans.

I am going with diamond S this time.

I had Diamond S on my 16 before the turbo was added. It’s a great can and top notch quality!

Like Longhorn, also has a Diamond S on my 16. That was a great piece. Only downside at all, was the price. Almost a thousand canuckistan dollars by the time it got here. OUCH ! Otherwise, its a top notch product !

Diamond S is 4.5 pounds lighter and twice the price of SLP quiet can.

I had a Diamond S on my last sled. Beautiful and sounds great. Going with a SLP on this Matryx.

I have diamonds s on one sled and SLP quiet on the other I prefer the SLP it fits better my diamond s want to push out the bottom of the belly pan. The diamond s is definitely lighter but titanium is a great conductor of heat I noticed the under hood temps are much higher with the diamond s. I think the sound levels are real similar with the SLP being a little deeper and the diamond s a little more tinny.

How much higher would you say the under hood temps are?

I’m not sure it was definitely noticeable when you took the side panels off both sleds after running hard but never seemed to effect how the sled ran still got good belt life so probably not hurting anything.
My biggest gripe was fitment but it was the older style can that didn’t have the domed shape on the top cap so I’m not sure if they fit better now.
Another thing the can I got from SLP for my matryx had an awful coating job on it.

Anyone have any feedback on an SSI stainless steel can? Too loud or any loss of performance on other sleds with that can?

The video on their website doesn’t sound bad at idle. My buddy ordered one if we get any snow I can give a report. Flip side is call SSI and ask about decibels. On diamond s website and slp’s both mention decibel readings; and both are called quiet cans.

I purchased the GSE out of curiosity and to support small business. I have a Diamond S on my 800 and this one doesn't seem any louder, maybe a bit quieter in my garage. First ride with it will be this weekend. Its baffled without packing. At this point it feels like a good value but more testing needed....stat tuned.
