Recently bought the '23 Klim Aspect 16 with the E2 Alpride electronic blower system. Charged system with USB port and put in two new alkaline batteries. Both battery indicators showed full. This was three weeks ago and bag has just been stored in a cold garage, not yet used. Yday, turned on supercapacitor, light was yellow, but AA batteries were at zero. It's my understanding AA batteries keep capacitor topped off when power level drops off.
So, in those three weeks, capacitor dropped off, batteries topped off till they went dead. Question is- What do you guys do that are weekend warriors like myself? Do you remove AA batteries after each ride, charge capacitor with USB , reinsert AA batteries the night before a ride? Obviously, trying to avoid buying a ton of batteries.
