Ok, I'm taking off the primary on my 09 Ski Doo Summit 800R, It's an etec? I've hear ptec and/or etec. Anyway, I've heated the inner shaft up a bit and tried the impact as well. I'm gonna give the whole hydraulic method a shot. I'll give y'all an AAR...Use this exact method. Works every time, and is easier on your crank bearings! Only change I would make is step 10. Rev sled up to 45-5000 rpm a couple times before riding then re torque. It will tighten up more then, and be good to go after that.
Honestly, I've never had this much trouble getting a primary off before. Is it ok to use some anti-seize on the shaft when re-installing?
