Polaris Secondary Spring Rubbing on Helix Collar?

I have a button secondary that I noticed the inside of the spring on the helix end is rubbing on the helix collar. It has worn a slight groove in the collar. Is this normal for the spring to rub on that collar as I cant see anything wrong and I have another used helix that has similar wear on it?

sounds like the spring is worn out and starting to twist out

Ok, I was wonder if maybe that was the case. So it shouldnt be rubbing like that then?
