Just checked a few for fun.

2020 800 Pro 163x3" - Alum
2019 850 Pro 163x2.6" - CF
2021 850 Khaos 155x2.6" - Alum
2021 850 Pro QD2 163x2.75" - CF

Khaos has alum - not sure if all 3" model pros wound up with alum as well.

Why?

The aluminum actually stays in one piece.

I’ve shattered 3 carbon over structures.

My poor memory from when I weighed both says It’s about 12 ounces lighter..........

Well don't forget that some of us ride like Sissies and haven't even come close to shattering one yet.

I would be interested to see some real world weight differences though. Polaris sure acted like it was more than 12 ounces when they released it. I would love to get to the bottom of whether or not this is actually true, because yes, if it doesn't save more weight than that, then it doesn't even seem worth the hassle.

Poo marketing is the best I have ever seen! They can sell you cancer with a 4 year warranty and cat's marketing (if there is such a thing) couldn't give away the cure!

Finding the block user for Timbre is the cure for Snowest AIDS!
