Haven't been up there for a couple years, is it still a suitable place to park and would we be idiots to leave stuff up there all night, locked up of coarse. Or, is it a parking spot for the party crowd at night?
Parking at Big Hill

The late night party crowd usually ends up at the gravel pit which is about 3 miles North of Big Hill. Big Hill is a little more secluded than other lots but has easy access to Spearfish. I would be a little hesitant leaving an open trailer with sleds but a little more comfortable leaving a locked enclosed trailer with a locked hitch or chain and padlock through the wheels.
I wouldn't leave it up there overnight Sledder, the pull back down to Spearfish is not that far and there are several motels there with room to park. 20 years ago we left a four place open sit up there all night and never worried a bit. People are not the same as they were 20 years ago unfortunately.
