P85 on Boost

Trowing a P85 on my RMK Boost. Looking for a start point for tuning, would like to gain bottom end over factory as I like tree riding. Im not new to clutch tuning just curious what others have tried. What works what doesnt? what about secondary as well?

Just need to add a defection bolt...Heard nothing but good things from the people we did P85 for and the Boost and 9R...all super happy!

Are you guys running factory boost springs in the p85?

I have an ibexx stage 3 ( axys turbo kit ) helix in secondary and spring and weights from my 2019 in my p85, was curious if I could just slap the full clutch in and adjust weight or what is everyone doing!

I see ibexx has different style weights for the p22 and boost but both should work?

Application 2024 boost 155.

Any updates on this ?

Get a hold of TRS. I had two different professional riders ride my boost with TRS P85 clutching and both commented on how responsive it was. One of them thought it was a model year newer he didn’t know I changed the clutching he thought Polaris fixed the lag issue over the previous model.

If your running a P85 on a stock boost, run 10-74's or EPI 74g belly busters, with a 140/330, secondary should be a 56-42.36 with a 175/240 secondary spring. Some adjustments will need to be made for track lenght, elevation and rider weight.
if your running a 10hp tune, go to 76g weights.

I'm in Alaska running 3-6k feet you think i should still start on 74g or start with 76G ?

A buddy put a P85 on his 9R and the clutch snapped off and it was a chore to get the shaft off the crank without damaging it. Warranty is void for such a repair if you plan taking it to the dealer if something like this happens.

Ya Im trying to prevent P22 clutch snaping the bolt off I have seen it on 3 diff sleds this year. I have a bad ass dealer so not worried about the warranty. P85 is a pritty tried and true clutch. I am just looking for a good baseline to start from when installing. I already have the clutch gonna stick with stock weights.

What RPM are you seeing with this setup? Did you switch to small rollers in the secondary?

Just a quick FYI....the stock P85 new is $665.00 for a new P22 cost is $999.00. these P22 wear out within 400-800 miles...P85 last a lot longer!!! I work with the P22 most days and noticed that the aluminum they used on the clutches is so much Softer than P85. has zero heat treating compares to p85
