only advantage i see of having it is so people who aren't smart enough to add 4 ounces of oil to a gallon of gas can keep on riding. natural selection, natures way of thinning the heard, i say let nature take its course
advantages of not having it, less weight, constant oil/fuel ratio, longer engine life, better performance, more room for air flow under the hood, no oil all over your clutches/engine after its been on its top, no more blown top ends/motors from injection system failures, no more having to readjust the oil pump because after 30+ years the factories still can't seem to get them adjusted right...
You would need to rig up some sort of oiler for the bottom end on these motors, not worth the hassle IMO. I will let the 4yr warranty take care of any problems that might arise.
If you delete the oil injection on this motor it will blow up! the fuel is injected in the tranfer ports when the cylinder is filling with air. There is very little fuel going to the bottom end.
