only advantage i see of having it is so people who aren't smart enough to add 4 ounces of oil to a gallon of gas can keep on riding. natural selection, natures way of thinning the heard, i say let nature take its course;)

advantages of not having it, less weight, constant oil/fuel ratio, longer engine life, better performance, more room for air flow under the hood, no oil all over your clutches/engine after its been on its top, no more blown top ends/motors from injection system failures, no more having to readjust the oil pump because after 30+ years the factories still can't seem to get them adjusted right...

Oil injection delete

I though that you couldn't delete the oil injection on the Pro 2CFI, due to lubrication to the crank.

On older Polaris sleds, (and I suspect it's still the same on the new PRO's) the oil pump also runs an oil feed to both ends of the crank. I would not want to give that up!

yes the injection system on these engines lube the bottom, but why not have it only do that??? or design it like they have before so it isn't necessary at all. ran oil delete on my M for 5 seasons, and you can't tell me they make a better 2 stroke motor for snowmobiling than the one suzuki builds...

If you delete the oil injection on this motor it will blow up! the fuel is injected in the tranfer ports when the cylinder is filling with air. There is very little fuel going to the bottom end.

i have always ran an additional 10 oz or so in a full tank of gas (about 100:1) for "insurance". It wont hurt a thing :)

Cheers!

You would need to rig up some sort of oiler for the bottom end on these motors, not worth the hassle IMO. I will let the 4yr warranty take care of any problems that might arise.

Hopefully you dont waste a fun trip and fuel i would run some premix for some sort of precaution
