nytro hand warmer code

ever since i got rid of my hand warmers theres a flashing code on the gauge every body tells me to just wire the wires together but it does not work and suggestions

Yeah you cannot just connct the wires, you need to install a resistor in line, the computer has to sense resistance. Just go to radio shack and get some different resistors, I think I used either a 10 ohm or 50 ohm I am not sure, but I think either would work. Just install them where the wires went to the handwarmer, I could not stand seeing the blinking light all the time either.
