lots of great snow to shred
any hills and trees to play in? cousin wants to head that way since its close to him. looks fun
Most of the trails are cleared of overhanging bush by now, and have a fairly solid base. Some forest roads are bumped up, at least the ones that are used frequently. There's not an abundance of snow this year for off trail, although the rivers are looking decent. Couple of the bigger ones are still open (Cloquet) in places, so be careful there.
Be wary of the lakes. I have been hearing about pretty bad slush conditions on area lakes. I may try riding to the Trestle Inn this week. Have not been there in years.

i was at trestle inn last weekend, it was great! over knee high some waist deep!!
