Ah thats good to know, i change them in pairs and have ran the odd one i know was good but it always fails shortly after. I had one eix fail on me last weekend, im going to try and br9eya and hope for the best hahaI've had some failures, similar to the above with the bpr9es. Had an entire 4 pack of bpr9eix have the insulator break away from the metal shell.
Also side note, I've had luck reusing plugs after hitting the tips with some heat from a propane torch and a light wire brushing to loosen the oil/carbon deposits then blowing them out with air. Sadly turned in to part of my post ride check, prepping plugs for the following day
Cant attach a video but heres some pictures of whats happeningIs your octane up to spec or are you trying to run 89 (mild deto) in your 91 min motor, are you turboed. I can't help but wonder since I have been running the NGK BPR9ES since 2004 racking up roughly 37,000 miles and have never had a plug issue of any kind.
