Thats how snow check is supposed to work across all brands, pay deposit and your sled gets ordered and shows up in the fall. So what makes this new deposit better at GUARANTEED to get your sled. seems like complete BS

Those ads sound to me like the dealers are asking for a deposit PRE Feb 14th to hold a spot on the snowcheck list as if it is going to fill up or sell out. I know last year the dealers sold a ton of snow checks, but I didn't hear of any turning deposits away. Perhaps this year BRP is limiting Snowchecks per dealer? Or the dealers are just trying to take advantage of a hot market.

Or possibly a few more changes to current sled than anticipated and like Fall of 2016 when they introduced Gen 4 dealers were capped at distribution limits

I didn't see where it says the dealer would pay the other $300 but I did see this from the Martin Motorsports ad:

Based on the letter I just got from SKI-DOO, I am thinking this might actually be REAL..
Maybe BRP is going to step up and take a PRO-ACTIVE Position after all??
