Went to install a new AC 0627-020 belt on my T-Cat and when I held it against the old belt the old belt was wider.....what the @#%&!
The spec for minimum width for the belt width according to AC is 1 11/32 or 34 mm. The belt I was going to replace had reached the minimum spec of 1 11/32. The new replacement 0627-020 measured 1 10/32 so I am wondering if there is a batch of belts being sold that do not conform to the required minimum spec for a new belt.
The new spec for width is 1 13/32 or 36 mm.
Will be returning the out of spec belts Monday.
