Under the new travel plan Hyalite is closed at Grotto Falls and closed at the trailhead to Emerald/Heather lakes. To get to the Bracket Creek riding areas there is a new road at the top of Battle Ridge. You can pick up a new travel plan map at the USFS office. You will need the old maps to make any sense of the new one, the new one has very few features named. There is much debate as to the legality of these closures, and opinions range from following the law or poaching our old riding areas.
