This kit comes standard with an innovative Fuel Delivery system based on the proven Dyno Jet Power Commander 5 platform and modified by MTNTK Performance to make tuning your Ski-Doo Gen4 850 more reliable and without the restrictions or complications that re-flashing an expensive ECU carries. Boosting your Ski-Doo Gen4 850 is the ultra-fast spooling, super compact, and lightweight Garrett GT2554R. This water-cooled, ball bearing TurboCharger allows you to run pump gas while adding instantaneous bottom end throttle response without adding unnecessary weight to your sled. Automatic and adjustable boost control comes standard to compensate for altitude without any added electronics. The gt2554 is a pretty small turbo. Anything over 5psi on this baby probably produces pretty hot charge temps. Would imagine it spools super quick though. Just speculation.

So what is the minimum elevation can you run this setup at ? Water cooled turbo, will this change charge tube temps? Is boost control tied into the throttle position sensor ? When will it be available in Canada? Love the smaller turbo idea . Also a question for you turbo gurus what is the correlation between a turbos output of cfm and psi and what that means with a smaller turbo ?

The reason you dont see them for sale is because they are still working on the tuning. They will not release the kit until it works well. They could be like several of the other manufacturers and throw it out there and than listen to everyone complain because they have issues. I guarantee you that once the fuel controllers get figured out they will run awesome. Fast spooling and a very nice hp increase while maintaining good reliability. The mtntk on my axys is awesome.

Well what's the verdict? It's been seven months now since the unveiling of this kit, and all is quiet on the western front.. Any one running one, or are they even producing them? Really like the idea of a small compact turbo package that is priced right, and sold locally, but honestly, kind of concerning with the lack of post or positive feedback, particularly from the manufacturer. Price point had me thinking hard about this turbo kit, but with the lack of chatter about it causes me concern about becoming a "test rider" for the product...:face-icon-small-con
