Like the title says, anyone have a mounted pelican box or hard case of any sort mounted to their xm's tunnel. If so what brand, what dimensions, how'd you mount it, and any available pictures, links, other info would be great. Thanks guy!

Check out the Powder Keg. I bought for the XM last year. Love it!!! The website is www.powderkegllc.com. It's a hard storage box, with an optional slimline jerry can which is mountable underneath. Very quick removal and attachment on sled. I usually keep my dry clothes in a ziplock bag just in case, because sometimes riding in very fine dry powder, a little finds it's way inside the box. Never have had any items get wet though. Both my riding buddies are getting a powder keg for their XMs after they saw how well mine worked last year.

X2 on the PowderKeg. I bought one last year for my XM and I'll never ride without one now. Just a ton of storage and nothing gets wet. You can bring damn near anything you want and you don't have to pack it like a jigsaw puzzle just to make it fit.

Pricey but worth it. Very good build quality and mounting hardware too.

It depends on your use.
I want to take a camera along so I need a dedicated case. I've decided to buy a LinQ fuel caddy, remove the can from the mount and install a 1400 Pelican case in its place.
I also have a PowderKeg on my XP. It is a great storage system and keeps things dry. I agree that you don't have to pack them like a jigsaw puzzle. They have tons of room and you can take anything you like along. However, I wouldn't put anything fragile in it without packing a lot of soft stuff around it! The contents get tossed around quite a bit.
I also ran into over heating issues in the spring due to lack of room on the tunnel for snow! Admittedly I ride later than most and if you're not in a hurry, you can stop, remove the PowderKeg (about 2 1/2 seconds) and throw snow on your tunnel.
For my expensive camera, I'm opting for the converted LinQ system that I described above.
If you're looking for general storage and the ability to carry spare fuel, the PowderKeg is a great option.
If your needs are as specific as mine, you may want to use the LinQ system with a Pelican case. I haven't put mine together yet, therefore I have no pictures.

We have this exact case coming out very soon. Pelican 1450 mounted on a removable system, that when off the sled will only have four posts showing. Will only be 7.125" Tall, and be completely water tight. PM for with questions, pics and all will be out shortly. Not releasing any info other than that until we have all of our ducks in a line.

I am in the process of figuring out how to mount a 1500 to the tunnel for my wife's 5d mark iii and lenses. I'm very interested in the blown motor setup. More info please!!!!! Haha

I just received the latches in the mail to put a pelican box on an 09 summit for my wife's photography equipment also! Looks like it'll work nice. Its big enough for her 7D and 3 lenses. Just fits onto the 154 tunnel. I'll post some pics when I get done. I ordered 4 stainless steel butterfly latches off eBay for $10 each.

This is what I came up with, I don't think that it's a Pelican case but similar. Added a little carbon fiber top to hold my shovel for easy access, yes I also carry one with my backpack. Bought the Linq set up added to some Bosch extrusion, so it's removable, and strong enough to use my foot against while climbing if needed. I wrap my Snobunje around it and hook to the handle works great!

Needs to be that big for a canon 7d, two telephoto lenses, a wide angle lens, and a S&W Governor;). Nothing sexier than an artist/ wife with a colt .45!
