This?
I agree the rear cooler is better but u have to cut ur cooler open and weld this in. Mtn tek is drilling holes and bolting in.

Myself and my brother ride side by side.
Both tunnels cut 7-8”

Both silber turbo 800’s

His is mtntk 5’ cooler only. 162. X3 track
Mine is welded stock tunnel. 162 3” PC track (Haven’t installed my mtntk)

They run very similar temps. (His slightly higher)

I think track is a lot of the equation.......

The ONLY reason I want to do the mtntk is eliminating the ice buildup on the running boards.

Do you use a tunnel pack?

Yeah I am not sure what to do at this point getting a lot of mixed reviews on everything. I would like 8in of tunnel cut off but from what I understand there is pretty much no great way besides cutting and welding the factory cooler and then adding the 5 ft cooler and that just ends up adding a bunch a lbs. but maybe losing some on snow and ice pack. But is the only way to keep cool on train and spring riding. And not to mention I am not a big fan of spending 800 bucks between the 2 coolers. One being the cut and weld job costing about 500. I do not know what to do. But hopefully polaris can pull there heads out of the sand and stop build sleds that the tunnel is so long a guy could have a dance party on the ****er. And maybe all a little cooling and help to not carry so much snow & ice.

^^ If you cut and weld, you do not need to add additional cooler. Scratchers and removable flap (if needed)
