Mountain cat shock settings

Found a few old threads on shock pressures. Now there is some time on these machines is there a good baseline. Mine came 85 skis. 45 fts and 145rts. Not even there recommended. The pump supplied doesn't even go high enough for the rts. Handled good in dry pow, but as soon as it got denser the handling went down the toilet. Any recommendations for 220lb rider?

Lower the front shocks to 60-62. I would add air to the FTS, 55+, to be safe, and run the rear where it's at or adjust accordingly.

some of the pumps have 0-150( silver pump) on one side and 0-300 on the other side. (black pump)

Mine came with the silver one. Doesn't even read to there spec. I am starting to think that there isnt much oversite at Cat. Hope i can get this thing setup proper. All the good reviews on handling aren't showing on my sled. Everyone i know with a mountain cat really likes them, so i am sure it a tweak and time on the machine thing.

2018 mountian cat 162 190 geared up and i have found front skis 65 front track 65 and rear 145 works great and handles well for me

What type of riding do u prefer the handling to be best set for?

This is what i would do;

Hill climb, follow the Manual.

Boondocking and wheelies,
I would try 60-65 skis, 85 fts, 145 rts.
Setting 2.

Trail and hills, 70-75 skis, 60fts, 160 rts,
Setting 1 on trails and 2/3 on hills.

My 18 mtn cat and 19Alpha are the same except for the rear shock. 145 -18, 125 -19.

205lb rider got 2 ride over the last 4 days ended with 140 rts 45fts and 70 ski shocks
started with 150 in the rts as was to harsh on the trail even on setting 1.
