Hey guys few more questions i'm not sure about.

First i'm not exactly sure about this so called STARTER JET. What does this jet do exactly? I had a post in about running to rich big time and i took the carbs apart and went 1 size down on this starter jet. I went out the other day and it was -2 celcius and i seem to be a little lean now?

Which way on the air screw makes it rich or lean?
Whats the difference in the king cat and mountain cat?
And where do you guys order your aftermarket parts?

thanks guys

what carbs and what sled?

Must assume you have an arctic cat with rack mounted mikuni carbs? and there are lots of variations on these depending upon year and engine.

But you have a gas screw, unlike old round slides etc with only an angled air screw.

most cats have a white plastic knob on the gas screw and its RICHER when turned out.........leaner when screwed in, its a faucet controling a small gas stream mostly affecting about 1/8 to 13 throttle.

Your air jet.........you need to read up on this depneding upon model, its moslty a mixture controlling
