Motor replace

I need to replace my motor in my 2018 Arctic cat M800 My question is can I replace it with a 2020–2022 motor?? Is there anything I need to do different then to replace it with a 2018 motor? I would like to put a 2020- 2022 Motor in it but I just wanna make sure everything will work any help would be great thank you

Other than the tune you will have to reroute some oil lines. I am interested in this project as i would be doing the same thing with your circumstances. I think it will be easy to do maybe not cheaper. It would be nice if you kept us updated. Good luck!

if they are cheaper 20-22 engines i would suspect its because they are still making parts since its the current engine where the older engines have a more limited supply being they are not being made anymore, or at least not being made very much.

Did you end up doing the newer engine into older chassis? Are dealers doing this to put a cheaper engine in on warranty?
