does anyone know when they stop plowing mirror lake hi-way ? went up thanksgiving day, road was plowed over baldy pass..

Rangers said they will close after they are unable to plow through. guys are riding the road at the Trial lake camp ground trail 041 "spring canyon road"

The real answer is they plow the highway to allow for Christmas Tree cutting. They want to leave the gates open so people can get in to cut the trees. As soon as the permits are nearly sold out or they have sold enough of them and they get a substantial snowstorm they will quit plowing the highway. We will sell out of the permits at Bear River Lodge in the next few days, so my guess is the next large snow storm will not be plowed and the gates will be shut.

Was up on Monte on Friday, plowed not much snow but closing the 28th.

HUNTSVILLE, Utah (AP) — Authorities have shut down State Road 39 outside of Huntsville earlier than expected due to heavy snowfall.
The Utah Department of Transportation says the road, also known as Monte Cristo Highway, is closing at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The closure affects SR 39 between just east of Huntsville and west of Woodruff.
The road will remain closed until next Spring.
