Not much to report sadly. Need some new fluff badly. You are a ways off yet so fingers crossed.

Hopefully they start getting some snow. Using CM Backcountry for our guide on the 8 so I’m sure we’ll find some snow.

Latest report . .

Landmines EVERYWHERE!
Not very rideable (off trail) at this time.
Very little in the forecast for more than a week.
Usually early to mid January is when the snow gets deep enough to ride much off of the trails.

Good riding to be had up high.....just be careful and sometimes careful isn't enough many landmines laying just below the surface and not a trice of there presence showing on the surface. Worth going but we need a few more storm systems to be in full winter riding mode.

Believe the current conditions are called "dealer snow" because the dealers get to sell a lot of replacement parts and labor.

The current series of storms has dumped a ton of snow, 3 feet since in the last four days, expecting a few more feet out of this weather event.

Avy danger is high so be careful out there.

Grooming most of the main corridors that are not shadowed by avalanche areas. So, not all trails will be completely groomed. Whoa ?, its deep. Be prepared though, with the snow depth and temps the trails are not holding up quite as well as they should. Avalanche level is high.
