When the National Weather Service issues a weather alert forecast, also known as a "situation report" to us via email, it rarely comes with the heading "Very Impactful Snowstorm this Weekend." It did today.
The NWS Cheyenne has issued a winter storm watch beginning Friday and running through Monday. Chances are very high this will be a "historic" snowstorm with the highest accumulation potential Saturday. Snow is expected to begin around 11 a.m., Friday.

We are in Saratoga right now. Last two days have been not that great. Looking forward to this, might have to extend the trip a day or two

Snorkel snow it is. Here in Casper, we have received at least 50” of snow in the last 8 days. It is snowing again here this morning. One thing though, the wind has started to blow.
If your are planning on riding the Snowies, beware of Avalanches. Safe sledding.
