machining splines from secondary clutch

Would like to have 7mm of splines removed from the inside of an Apex secondary clutch so I can get it further on the jackshaft, can’t find a local machine shop that will do it.

Anyone know of a machine shop in the lower 48 capable of this?

That seems like a straight forward mod. But maybe the apex/yamaha clutch is a bit different than what im used too. Did they say why they cant do it? Feel free to message me on here. I should be able to help you out.

The machine shops I spoke with said they didn’t have the tooling to machine splines away. Possible they just didn’t want to do it and that was an excuse.

I asked on the TY forums and Terry at Thunder Products said he could do it for me, mailing my clutch out Monday.
