I pulled 55-60mph on my 07 but about the same as you on the 09. I think the track hooks that much better. at least thats what I figured. the 09 would go farther by far though.

General thoughts about the performance- Well I never had a complaint about this setup. Ran 800miles on an 046 belt. From the sounds of things that was great. Really wasn't into clutching last year, however this year is going to be different now that I kinda now understand what I need to do. Going to the CPC Orange and CPC 42/36 helix.

Got the first ride in, posting the updates

Sled year-09 sno pro
Track-162
Rider weight-190lbs
Altitude-3000-8000
Mods-SLP pipe set, PCIII, BDX intake, Cutler torsion kit
Primary spring- Stock yellow white
Weights- CPC 70-80s weight in at 78.3g maxed
Secondary spring- Cutler orange
Helix-cutler 42/36
Gears- 54/66
Belt- 060
3or4 weight primary- 3
Peak RPM-7700
Engagement RPM-3900

First ride, could only manage 40-45mph track speed in the pow up hills, thinking I need alot more weight in the pri, might order 80-90g cutlers? Tried different settings on the secondary, but made very little difference in MPH and RPM.

Anyone else running the CPC kit with the orange spring? What helix do you thing will work well? Strait 36?

I hear these sleds should be able to do 55-60 mph track speed, is this true?

Did you have to change any of the PCIII settings to run the BDX box?

I haven't yet, was riding at 6000', had a low end hesitation, thought at first it might have been deto, but doesn't do it around town.(2500') Next time out I will try adding one bar to both the low and mid, and see if it gets better or worse. Trying a different gas station as well, may have been bad fuel, or don`t need to run premium at altitude.

Next week I will be trying a different helix as well, a strait 42, will post the results.

Does anyone know of a Arctic Cat pri spring that has lower start force, with a similar finish.

I have the RKT kit. Have SLP kit, BDX intake, 56/64 gears, BD box. Stock the sled was strong but seem to climb like a bulldozer. Strong but at one speed. Now it attacks the hills. Acts like a 190 hp sled should. :D

Update: Have now added Heelclickers to the primary. I KNOW! I KNOW! Most powder guys have nothing but bad to say about them. But our shop guy has alot of people running them and all of his sleds KICK AZZ!! He has been tuning with them for years and really knows his s**t.

note: I was told by my dealer that the LE titanium spring is the same as the SP spring. NO TRUE!! It is softer. Explains why my LE required less weight than regular M-1000s.
