M 1000 wont tach with Mods any advice please

07 M 1000 with speedwerx ceramic coated single pipe and can boondocker fuel management box, and 68s in the primary. This sled will tach at 7500 right from the start, but falls on its face a few seconds later and tach at 7000 at best. I even Tried to lean it with all numbers at zero. If anyone has a simular setup please help.

are the power valves opening? 6500 is the open and this motor depending on pipe should only be spun 7250- to 7500. Also did you take the cover off the clutch and check the weights for movement? with 68s I guessing you have a 4 post clutch?

Sounds more like a clutching issue. I would check for broken springs in both drive and driven as well as rollers in both. Also check weights for chafing and rubbing on the spider, and the bushings.

Another thought, a varmint nest in exhaust or intake.
