Lost Lake?

If Turny is getting close to opening, I'm curious if Lost Lake may have enough to snow to be rideable as well. Anybody know how much snow they have down in Seward. Firehouse trail or Snug Harbor?

It has been raining here in Seward while snowing in Turnigan. We need a serious dump of snow before even thinking about getting to the lake

More areas designated for snowmachines (except Placer and 20 Mile) on the Chugach National Forest will open today Dec 1 at 1200 noon. We are monitoring the snow at Placer and 20 Mile and will open those areas as soon as there is enough snow.

Lost lake included??????? Might have to take a trip to seward.

Where did you get that report? According to the trail reports site the only Chugach area open to riding is Turny.

Johnson Pass Open Open at 12:00 noon Dec 1. Please use designated gate at North Trailhead, and stay out of the non-motorized meadow seperating the motorized and non-motorized areas. Center and Divide Creeks are always closed according to current Forest Plan.

Does anybody know if its possible to access grandview? I think its northwest of seward? They always have alot of snow there.

Epic day of riding!!

We had one of the most Amazing days of riding in my life on Thursday at Lost lake! My bro and some friends spent all day Wednesday breaking trail at Primrose. We were the first ones up on Thursday to find incredible snow and sunny skies What an incredible way to start the year off!!!! Best first ride of my life for sure. Here are a few pictures we took allot of video too but will have to post that later. WARNING!! these pictures will make you Smile and get jealous

I have to say, I am jealous. I have been up there on days like that, I have to agree some of the best riding to be had. If my parts would just get here the monster hawk will be done and I'll be there.
