Installed a pair of tunnel mount scratchers on a 2020 Freeride 165. Very simple install but the upper spring coil that fits over the two metal bushings that then is bolted to the sled has about 1/4" of lateral movement on either side when centered or about 1/2" of total travel. In other words, the coil is not as wide as the bushing is so it slides back and forth although the section of coil that extends into the hole in the upper arm still fully seats even when the coil is pushed all the way out, thus properly preventing the scratcher arm from rotating. So the scratchers will still work but it doesn't seem like there should be that much play. I took a video of it to the dealer and they verified I had the correct scratcher kit but were at a loss to explain the play and didn't know if that was normal or not but didn't think so. We also walked around the service bay but couldn't find any other sleds with the tunnel scratchers to compare with.
The link is the install instructions and the bushings are labled P3. When both P3's are placed together, the length is far longer than the length of the coil. Tightening the bolt doesn't matter because the bushings butt up against each other before the bolt is even inserted.
