Forecasters talking about AR event ! Blizzard with many feet per day.

Kings Canyon to Susanville

Confidence is at 50%

NOAA discussion

"Bottom line...confidence is growing in the development of an
atmospheric river storm for this coming weekend into early next week
with copious amounts of precipitation. Confidence is far lower
regarding snow levels. This could be a very significant snow
producer in the higher elevations with potentially moderate to heavy
rain below 7000-7500 feet. That might produce some localized
flooding in lower elevations...especially if there is existing snow
cover below 6000 feet and soils remain saturated for many locations."

Remember up to this event 7-11 Jan parts of the Sierras will get 10 to 30 inches of water

I remember a AR event way back by Mammoth where you found the house by the chimney and entered houses from the second floor windows !!!!!
