Larger Grips

I'm thinking about installing some rubber grips over the stock grips. For some reason my right hand is pissed off after every ride this year. I'm right handed so I've been practicing my grip since my early teens but this year is a killer for some reason. I have bigger hands so I'm wondering if adding a beefier grip would help.

Anyone gone this route?

I went with ODI grips because I wanted more grip. The diameter is definitely larger and at this point, I am indifferent to the change. More grip though. Thanks, Thunder Mountain Lodge

Another vote for odi. I jumped on a sled with stock grips yesterday and couldn’t believe how much I hated them after having the larger, stickier grips.

Thanks folks! I'd say the results are in.

EDIT: No issues with heaters?

I put a set of the odi's on my son's xm. Definitely larger grip. At the same time I put a set of cfr's on my sled. The cfr and stock grips are quite a bit thinner than the odi. I can tell a huge difference between the heat on the cfr grips compared to the odi. I would say the heat still works, but nowhere near as hot/warm.

Doesn’t look like you can buy those ^^^ in this part of the world....

I’m interested tho. Anyone know where to find these in North America?

I would definitely second that. I went back to stock grips because my hand were getting cold.

On the trail they run a little cool. You can still feel the heat but it doesn’t get toasty. In the trees, going slow, they’ll get hot enough to have to turn them down.

Thanks, I rarely run heaters but this is good to know when I need them.

Are these the grips you guys are talking about?

That's what I put on my XP and have loved them. This season I upgraded to a Gen4 and it reminded me how I felt about the ODI grips. I gut the throttle side a bit shorter than the 8" they came in so I could get my throttle closer to the end of the bar. I've been thinking about doing the same thing on my new sled.

Grips went on super easy and they are really sticky/slightly fatter. Thanks for the insight folks! I can't wait to try them out.
