Who do you use, as I found UPS charges outrageous fee's, and USPS does not. For us in Ontario USPS seems to be the best route.

We use USPS for shipments to Canada. There is a shipping estimator on our web site. Add something to your cart and view your cart in the upper right and there will be a link to calculate shipping.

The shipping calculator works well. Reasonable price too, as long as there are no suprises.
Have you shipped many items to Canada?
How has the response been from your Canadian customers about extra shipping costs? (Taxes/duties)
