Kitty Kat problems

My sons 1980 kitty cat died last winter and i can't find parts or anyone to fix it. A buddy of mine tore it apart and we figure its the coils or ignition.... does anyone know where to find anything for this? its a 1980... it doesn't have any spark but the headlight goes on when you are pulling it over. We replaced the coil with a brand new one, but we think the points are shot... any help would be great

You could try cleaning the points first and then try it. If you do need parts we have them also at funoutfitters.com also.
