Got the sled out for a little road ride yesterday. Lots of pow turns, some mega deep drifted zones (5-8' of snow). Did just over 20 miles. The 153 x 3" powerclaw is nasty and grabs HARD in any sort of grippy snow. Very excited to let it eat when there is any sort of base. Kurts gearing and clutching is snappy and pulls very hard. The shocks on this thing are super fun. Very playful but impressive bottoming resistance. hammering bumps and whoops and sometimes landing on windblown dirt lol

Oh yeah, I also rode before all you guys ;)

Definitely keep the updates coming !!

It would also be nice to hear some more on your set up and if you end up playing with the shock settings.

So as of right now it is,
Kurts clutching and gear down kit
153 powerclaw with 7T avid drivers.
Iceage 153" bombers with 9" wheels, anti stab etc.

Im very impressed with how it rides out of the gate, I added ~.75" of preload to the front ski shocks out of the gate just to help it hold ride height a little better. I generally prefer a stiffer front so this is what stemmed that right out of the gate. Overall impression of the shocks is really good for a stock setup, really leaps above anything I've rode before. I got to bounce it around a lot on some super variable conditions. Also the skid shock side soaked up bumps really good and didn't feel like it would just collapse into the rails like the normal mono-tube configuration does. Also the skid transfer SUPER fast. The sled feels much more "fun" then a traditional RMK. After 4 155 Axys RMK's this thing is going to be the perfect combo for me of precise handling we all know and love but a little more wild and playful ride.

What gear ratio did you get from kurts?

Any new updates ????? Really interested in feedback on the Khaos as well as anyone who has converted one to a 163.

Staring at a pile of white mtns, supposedly 2' or so up high. unfortunately VERY busy right now with work and road rides and goofing around have to take a little backseat until it stacks up a hair more.

Overall im VERY happy with this sled. Offtrail ride time is still fairly limited but loving how the skid works and transfers especially with the powerclaw track. You can just lean back and float the skis or weight forward and climb with ease. Just much more sensitive to rider position then the standard rmk.
