Dealer called said sled was in , wanted to know if I wanted clutching changed, said they come from factory set at 7 to 9000 ft.
My 17 800 pro came set at 6 to 8000ft which works really good for the riding in my area. We ride from 1500ft to 7000ft with most
of it being in the 4 to 6000 range.
Dose any know if the stock setting on the 850 really comes set at 7 to 9000ft ?

Yes they come with 68g = 7-9000' .
70g= 5-7000'
72g= 3-5000'
Just buy the weights and change them your self, it's like $100 for the set.

Thanks for the reply.
Just thought it sounded a bit odd , My dealer said they would change them if I want for the cost of the weights, I would rather do it my self. Thinking the 5-7000ft might be better for here.
On all my past 800, the factory setting has seemed to work fine for this area, was just thinking the 7 -9000ft seemed a bit high.
Do you know what people found with their 19, 850 ?

Clutch for 8100rpm. It’s putting out 167hp and 108ft/lbs of torque there. That’s very nice.

Depends on your snow, you might be able to pull more weight then what polaris recommends. I run 72g @4000' in deep heavy snow 8100-8200 rpm. when i go out of town to 6000' in lighter easy snow, I leave the same clutching and I still get 8100-8200 rpm. In the spring I run 74g at 4000' 8100-8200 rpm.
