Popped up to Kapka around 10am this morning. Groomers have definitely been out as trail 5 from Kapka to dutchman was really nice. Trails 6 and 7 were whooped up a bit and bad in some spots. One completely covered tree to go over on 6. 7 was great up high with some decent deep spots but whooped once you got into the tree part of the trail. We definitely felt the ice layer and the more open spots are wind-scorched. The backside of moon fields are pretty nice and I found some great snow in the trees around moon. Didn't tap anything significant and it appears the base is looking really good. This weekend looks amazing with the coming storm. Ride safe folks!
