Snow is melting fast but still pretty good!

This is technically about 40 miles east of the wasatch but we're Lovin it too! We've had 10 times the snow this month than we got in January. We are actually glad it's starting to get hard and opening up the darkest steepest cracks in our playground. The snow bridges over the creek's are holding up well also down to about 9k.

The bridges were too good actually after a 70 mile loop we couldn't find one that our sled buddy couldn't cross but he's a pro. He prefers to ride with snow bikes to keep him in shape.
Nice Eric! Glad to hear it is still holding up. We had a little 4 inch refresher and the riding was pretty good yesterday afternoon. Looking forward to the big storm coming tomorrow. They are still claiming up to 2 feet in the cottonwoods.

We've had the same kind of spring, it's go anywhere conditions perfect for exploring without that isothermic crap snow that I hate. 2- 8" dumps in the last 2 weeks have kept it pretty decent. The snow pack this season is 120% of normal so the cornices are absolutely massive, they kind of give me the heebee geebees when I see them, we've been giving them a wide berth.

So we had a nasty brown layer of dust that blew in just before last weeks big dump. I was driving back from salt lake when it hit and it was raining mud on my wind shield. I'm guessing it's from the high winds in the west dessert picking up dust. It's going to create a golf ball texture once the sun burns down to it. And our smooth snow will be gone if it doesn't keep snowing every 3 days like it has been
