I know this is not a hot topic, but if anyone with more carb. knowledge than myself would give advice I would appreciate it. I'm working on a 89 Yamaha SnoScoot , which is a 80 cc moped motor. Problem occuring is it runs fine until it hits wide open throttle, at that point it bogs and sometimes even dies. I've cleaned the carb. thoroughly replaced the pilot and main jet, made sure the jets are for the approp. elevation. Any ideas what might be causing this little motor to completely fall out on the top end? Thanks in advance for any advice.

choke cable out of adjustment or floats out of adjustment. needle and seat? trying putting some 'sea foam" into the float bowl and let it soak for a day or so. sounds like shes running out of fuel or flooding out

I would say the float level is to low. does it make a difference when you put the choke on when it goes to bog or die? Sounds to me it is running out of fuel at full throttle.
