Install 1996 VMAX MM600 into a 1999 Mountain Max?

I have a 1999 Mountain Max 600 with a blown crank. I have access to a 1996 MM600 engine, but I notice the motor mounts changed significantly. Anyone know if there is an easy way to mount the 96 engine in the 99? Or is this a lost cause?

I've got a complete 97 700 tripple and a set of Bender pipes that I'll let go for $900 plus shipping from Montana. Complete engine with 3025 miles on it.
