Very good information.
All too often our group will come upon riders who have stopped and have left their machines right in the trail. These are NOT necessarily new riders either!
While I hope it does not come to this...... some day we may see a requirement for a Snowmobile Safety Course and a requirement to carry a compliance certificate.
Our Oregon State Marine Board has done this, and it's a joke in that there is not dock-side testing.
Only a test that can be taken on line with a buddy looking over the person's shoulder giving them the correct answers.
It's a revenue generating instrument ONLY.
