What would cause this?? The throttle cable seems fine and isn't getting stuck or hung up.. if you hit the kill and fire it back up it idles perfect at 1750ish. But as soon as you engage the clutch it won't come back down to idle.... Actually maybe that the problem?? Sticky clutch? It's a little sticky on the top end (sat for a few years) maybe I talked my way through it.. any opinions still appreciated

Our 2012 had a high idle ended up being the clutch side crank seal. It was easy to see as there was oil behind the clutch
if the clutch seal is leaking it probably has a bad bearing . spray some starting fluid or just some water on the crank seal area if the idle changes you have a leak .
better to find out this way than loosing a cylinder
