How much boost 800HO

How much boost , assuming no det, can a stock 800 HO handle? What gives up first? This is assuming a good tuneup.

You won’t need it. 14lbs, turbo domes runs solid on c12
Lots of guys running 10-12lbs on Straight Av. C12 is better obviously. One local has 3500miles at 12lbs on Avgas

It's all about absolute pressure in your motor. 14.7PSI absolute at sea level. 10PSI absolute at 10k feet. So, if a guy is running 14PSI at 10k feet, you can run 10PSI at sea level with the C12. But I don't see any elevations listed above...maybe the 14PSI was at 12k feet...don't know. I have had great luck running my PG turbo and getting a det code when running a bit too much boost...and backing it off a bit with no issues. So, you could probably start at sea level with 8PSI and C12 w/ turbo domes and slowly increase it to 10K.
