Just wondering how many miles u guys hav gotten on these sleds before revuilding my friend has 4300 miles and his sled seems to run pretty good.

Mine has 3300, rebuilt @ 2100 due to flaking nikasil. My buddy has one at the same mileage without a rebuild. Hit and miss I guess?

I have heard of guys going upwards of 6000 miles on the 6-700 laydown style motors without a rebuild.

im on 7000 miles on a 06 cfx 700, still runs strong, comp is 120 both sides, and is still a virgin.. i bought the cat top end kit for it this fall, but it runs soo nice i really dont want to touch it, ... but if i dont, with my luck, i will drop a skirt, and have a major.. so i guess i will tear it down now while its still cheap..

5000

5ooo miles is a good time to refreshen top end , but many will go more. Do you like to gamble.

I've seen 9000 on an M7 w/o even a top end done. Ran great last time I saw it. Must've had 4-5 primaries put on it in that time!

Not that I would recommend that.

Don't play with it. Leave it alone!

My m1000 has 9000 on her. Never opened the motor yet. Some say im crazy but why fix it if it aint broke. 140 psi in each cylinder and barely any blow by. Its on its second primary though.

bud of mines got a 03 f7 with over 10000 miles on it. Engines never been touched. I didn't believe it till I seen it.

Thing runs great. Hes at like 20:1 on his oil ratio. Only problem hes had is the recoil bolts backed out a few times, and his track is getting rough.

mines about the same as the OP (4k+) and i have no intentions of touchin it. it still runs great and is probably one of the strongest runners in our group. now if only i had some snow to ride it in:face-icon-small-fro

I know it's not a cat, but I've seen a couple Ski Doo 600sdi's with over 20,000 miles. Engines hadn't been touched.

Got 9800 on my one thousand, just replaced the exhaust valves with supreme tool valves, nothing else done to engine, run delete oil injection, pre mix is amsoil interceptor 32:1
