High compression head?

I made an impulse buy on a bikeman high compression head for my 2011 HCR. Any one running this head or another high comp. head on their 800 H.O. cats? If so do like or dislike it? I am very curious as to the power gains this will give me. Feed back will be greatly appreciated. I ride at 6000 to 9000 ft of elevation most of the time and I have a jaws can on it as far as mods are concerned.

The 2012-13 cat head are already much higher compression than say polaris (thus more power) ...by adding compression on stock timming you are simply getting closer to detonation and engine failure and will actualy loose power whatever BMP is claiming.

It doesn't say exactly what ratio it is but it says it adds 20 lbs of compression, high altitude gains of 10 HP through the midrange and 6-8 HP peak. That is what they claim.

Did you notice that he's in montana, not in the midwest?

OP, I'll agree about the RKT head comment above. There's a reason he's on top for heads... his is just plain better than the rest, and instead of making the sled more prone to det & creating issues, wen you get a head from kelsey for your altitude... it's the right head for the alt & fuel you want to run.

Considering that you can run 85 in these at our elevations (starting about where you end OP) I'd say there's power to be gained back for sure with the right head.

What compression ratio is the head you got?
