I’m going to do a headlight delete kit on my 2012 M800 and I was wondering if I really need to do an air temp sensor relocate or if that’s optional. Real answers only please

Maybe not necessary, but it might be. I would just get it done, it's pretty easy

I didn't. I just cut the wires between the plug and the sensor and spliced in some longer ones. I looked at the install directions online for the location, but I don't think it's super critical as long as it clears everything. Worked great for me, but I don't have enough time on it yet to know if it helped much with bog
The way this guy does it seems cheap and effective and also reversible.

Nice, im going to look at buying a 2013 tonight and this would be mod #1 on my list.
I have been on a 2001 MC 800 since 2011 and was on a 2001 mc 600 before that so this should be worlds better.

I finished that kit this weekend turned out amazing
Well after fixing the major issues with this POS I finally got around to doing the headlight delete.
Only have ½ of a ride on this sled since owning it, hopefully this year it works out.
