Thanks again! I will use the Cat skis with no Elevate kit first. Then the Elevate kit with the Cat skis and maybe I'll even try the Grippers at some later point if I am not 100% happy.

youre willing to ride it for a while un-elevated, without grippers, but not stock motor/clutching?
id done the opposite.

The only way you are gonna tell a real difference between the cat and gripper ski is putting one on each side and riding it like I did. That's why I posted a thread on it, because I was surprised the differences between the 2 skis when you actually rode both the same time in the same snow conditions. Visually they look very similar, but they do handle different.
